Overview

The Hansan Ramie Fabric Cultural Festival is Korea’s leading eco-friendly traditional textile festival, celebrating Hansan Mosi Weaving, which is inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Held every June around the Hansan Mosi Museum in Hansan-myeon, Seocheon-gun, the festival offers a variety of ramie-related cultural programs, including Hansan Mosi School, mini loom-weaving experiences, and Jeosanpal-eup Gilssamnori. Bringing together tradition, nature, and hands-on experiences, the festival offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore the history and artistry of Korea’s renowned ramie culture.

Best Time to Visit
