Not only is Sungsimdang one of the most famous bakeries in Korea, it has maintained its reputation as an iconic local business that represents Daejeon since its opening in 1956. Sungsimdang Culture Space focuses on sharing the philosophy of Sungsimdang and the sentiments of Daejeon. It consists of one basement floor and four above-ground floors, designed with cultural spaces and diverse attractions on each floor that includes a cafe and a place where people can sit their purchased baked goods from Sungsimdang.
