Gariwangsan Mountain (가리왕산)

Gariwangsan Mountain, one of Korea's famous mountains, is densely covered with various trees and is abundant in medicinal herbs, including wild ginseng, and wild vegetables. On clear days, one can view the East Sea from the summit. The surrounding area presents a spectacular view throughout the four seasons, with azaleas in full bloom in spring, colorful foliage in autumn, and a silver world of snow in winter.

The Gariwangsan Mountain Music Festival is held every summer at Gariwangsan Mountain , and a ski resort is in operation during the winter. It is also a popular destination for hikers and is one of the representative tourist attractions in Gangwon State. There are various tourist attractions nearby that are worth visiting, such as Hwaamdonggul Cave, Samtan Art Mine, High1 Resort, and Arii Hills Skywalk and Zipline.
