Overview

Deokgu Hot Springs is recognized by the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs as “Gyeongsangbuk-do’s No. 1 National Hot Spring" and is Korea's only hot spring with natural geyser. It is located in a 1.32ha-wide space in Deokgu, nestled in the beautiful scenery of Eungbongsan Mountain north of Uljin-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, east of Taebaeksan Mountain. The water here is lightly alkaline at a temperature of 42.4℃, one of the most well-regarded in Korea. It is especially effective for lifestyle diseases such as neuralgia, arthritis, muscle pain, skin disorders, and diabetes. Deokgu Hot Springs is also known for its beautiful view of the naturally flowing hot springs, unique rock formations, and crystal-clear waters from the valley.
