Overview
Doseongul Cave is a natural cave located on Geumosan Mountain in Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and is said to be the place where the Great Master Dosun attained enlightenment. Master Dosun, a monk of the Unified Silla period, is well known as the first person to introduce the principles of feng shui. Looking down from Doseongul Cave, one can take in a panoramic view of Gumi Industrial Complex, the Nakdonggang River, and Nangsan Mountain in the distance. Upon exiting the cave and walking a short distance uphill to the right, you’ll find the 28-meter-high Daehyepokpo Waterfall, where the water cascades down in a refreshing stream.
