Suaedang (안동 수애당)

Andong Suaedang is a place characterized by spacious wooden floors and gentle eaves, offering a tranquil and atmospheric stay. In accordance with the owner's insistence that bedding always be clean and fresh, custom-made cotton comforters are replaced daily. Various cultural experiences are available, such as making Hanji hand mirrors and tea ceremonies. Foods that complement the atmosphere of the hanok, ranging from nutty and sweet snacks like misugaru and Andong yakgwa to pajeon and Andong soju are also available to be enjoyed on the veranda. Guests can experience the romance of a hanok by lighting a fire in the traditional fireplace and gaze up at the night sky. Tourist attractions such as Hahoe Folk Village, Bongjeongsa Temple, Dosanseowon Confucian Academy, and Byeongsanseowon Confucian Academy are located near the accommodation.
