Overview
KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Center) is the largest exhibition center in Korea. Since its opening in April 2005, KINTEX has undergone two of three scheduled expansions. As an international exhibition center jointly funded by Gyeonggi Province, Goyang City, and KOTRA, it contributes to economic revitalization, job creation, and community service. In particular, through the establishment of a close cooperative system with the government, it strives for the development of Korea's MICE industry by fostering exhibition support industries and attracting advanced exhibition technology-based industries, as well as by improving local cultural tourism conditions through citizen participation.
