Overview

American Village, overlooking the beautiful Aenggang Bay and Nodo Island in Namhae, is a settlement village created for the Koreans in the US who wanted to return to their home in Korea to spend their old age. The village, consisting of 22 American-style houses and pensions, allows visitors to experience the American culture. Although, not large, it offers visitors a chance to experience the unique design of each house while taking a leisurely stroll. As visitors go up from the entrance of the village, they can see the Yongmunsa Temple, the oldest and largest Buddhist temple in Namhae.&nbsp;<br>
