Overview
The Miryang Performing Arts Festival, which has established itself as Korea's leading summer performing arts festival, is held across Miryang City, including Miryang Arena and the Miryang Arirang Art Center. Selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the festival is designed to allow citizens and tourists to naturally encounter performances in their daily lives. Under the slogan "The City as a Stage, Daily Life as a Performance," the festival has significantly expanded its venues to include Miryang Arena, the Arirang Art Center, Eoreumgol Valley, and other locations throughout Miryang City. Diverse performances and rich events will take place during the festival period. From stages of warm empathy that bridge generations to unique immersive performances that boldly break down the barriers between stage and audience, a variety of theatrical performances blurring the boundaries between the audience and art are set to unfold against the backdrop of Miryang's beautiful nature and urban spaces.
