Overview
Nuunoreum Parasitic Cone resembles a cow lying down. This oreum is also called “Nunoreum.” Oreum is a Jeju dialect meaning mountain or peak and refers to parasitic cones located throughout Jeju. The oreum’s walking trail starts out as a straight path, which leads to a gradual oreum slope when short trees come into view. The hill is 407-meter high with a gentle slope, but visitors should watch their step due to the silver grasses and unpaved sections of the pathway. A ranch can be seen on the way up to the top, so it is recommend to walk up with the ranch in mind.
