Overview
Keunggeut Lighthouse is a beautiful hidden gem located at the eastern tip of Dolsando Island in Yeosu. The way to get there is difficult, and it is not well-known because it is hidden in the forest. There is no separate parking lot, so visitors usually park on the shoulder of the road and pass through a small forest path that runs between the roads. The path is not rugged, but it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes. Following the pine tree path, one will encounter the endless horizon and the sound of clear blue waves at the edge of the forest, along with a white lighthouse that blends well with the scenery. The pretty tidal rocks and the emerald beach look like a painting, attracting locals and tourists in Yeosu to capture this view. The sight of the waves crashing against the bizarre rocks and cliffs next to the lighthouse is also beautiful. However, there are no safety devices or fences, so caution is advised.
