Overview
Mokimdang is a private hanok stay located in the historic village of Mundeok-myeon in Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do. It was introduced in EBS Culture Program <Architecture Exploration, House>. The accomodation consists of three rooms - ondol room, bedroom, and kitchen, plus two bathroom/toilets - and of course a yard. Guests need to bring their own toiletries, and can bring their dogs with them - though there’s an extra charge for this. English language local information is available. The beautiful Sonngwangsa and its hermitage Bulil-am are nearby, as is the Daewonsa Tibet Museum.
