Overview

Yongjangseong Fortress, built by Sambyeolcho as an anti-Mognolian facility in Jindo, is located on the mountain ridge of the northern coast of Jindo. Although most of the fortress has disappeared, parts of the fortress walls along with the site of the Yongjangsa Temple and the palace still remain preserved. Nearby attractions such as the Yongjang Fortress Exhibit Building can be visited together.<br>
