Overview
Amethyst Cave Land is a cave theme park located at the foot of Sinbulsan Mountain in Ulsan. It was developed from a former gemstone mine tunnel into a tourist cave. The entire site covers an area of approximately 500,000 square meters, and the cave is shaped like an ant colony, with a total length of about 2.5 km connecting the first and second levels. The interior area is about 16,500 square meters (approximately 5,000 pyeong), wide enough for trucks to pass through. The internal temperature remains between 12 and 16°C year-round, making it known as a cool space in summer and a relatively warm space in winter. There are two main ways to view the cave. One is a walking cave exploration course where visitors can tour themed spaces. The other is a course where visitors view the cave's interior lake by boat. The second floor of the cave features Jurassic World, which is designed as a family-friendly attraction with dinosaur sculptures and character lanterns.
